Ignition Venture Studio: The Perfect Space For Entrepreneurs

When the super Tanya Llana (The Marketing Guru of Victoria Court) sent an email invite without anything but a big red dot as image and with the word "Ignition" on top of the invitation, I know right away that it is a revolutionary facility that will help freelancers, young entrepreneurs and StartUp innovators. The name itself, gave it all away. Ignition. It's a common term right now if you are in different groups of young innovators which lucky enough that 1/4 of my network belongs to that category.

He mentioned that aside from the facility and the services that they can offer, his background as a successful serial entrepreneur can help also the soon to be members of Ignition. Guys, don't forget that Atticus is the son of Archie King, the man behind the successful Victoria Court- The biggest drive in hotel in the country. Oh here comes, Margo Flores who is the only gal among the founders. She sat beside me and introduced herself. She is an expert in financial planning and equities with experience in office development, management, leasing and rehabilitation thus she is perfect as one of the igniters among the pack.

Well, actually, I am so familiar with these kind of facilities, for me, I am calling it as Co- working spaces with a lot more to give- Peace of mind.

A Branding Workshop

On May 31, 2017 from 2PM to 7PM at Misono Japanese Restaurant, the 2nd Social Media, Digital Marketing and Public Relations workshop will be held for this year under TAG Media and Public Relations. Main speaker will be the Co- Founder of TAG Media and Public Relations- Engr. Grace Nicolas.

I met Leeroy Livy and Donald Saurombe last year pitching their idea to me about this revolutionary mobile app that according to them will solve the parking problem. At first, I need to ask them repeatedly about the implementation since I myself, working in Makati with a car is really a parking challenge everyday. After a year, these two aggressive gentlemen with their determination to succeed, made it.

DIBZ is a mobile app that is bringing convenience to drivers in Metro Manila! With Dibz, drivers can search for and reserve an available parking space and its guaranteed that it's available when you arrive. No more circling the block in search for parking, no more waiting for other cars to vacate a parking, no more scramble for loose change and lost parking tickets! All payments are made cashless.

Dibz also operates an on-demand mobile valet service in selected areas for when you are in a hurry and just don’t have the time to park your own car or when the nearest parking space is far from your destination. With Dibz Valet, you can just pick a drop off point and a valet will be assigned to meet you there to park your ride for you! When you need your vehicle back, you can just request for it on the app and it will be returned to you within 15mins!

Another feature of Dibz is the Private Partners Program that utilizes the concept of the shared economy. We realized that there a thousands of underutilized parking spaces in Metro Manila- an example would be someone living in a condo in Makati but working in BGC, his/ her residential parking space lies empty 8-10 hours per day while other drivers circle around the block nearby in search of an available parking space.  Dibz offers a platform for anyone who owns a private parking space to list it for rent when the owner is not using it- by doing so, the owner can recoup part of his/her monthly parking expenses, while helping to improve the parking experience of other drivers!


How to Download Dibz
Currently Dibz is available on the Android platform and it’s iOS version is being tested out by a closed group of testers. The iOS version is expected to be launched to the public before mid-June! Drivers that are using Android devices can visit Google Playstore and download the app.

How to Pay for Parking Through Dibz?
All payments for your parking through Dibz are cashless! Drivers just have to purchase parking credits through credit/ debit card or through over the counter payments made available through our payments partner, Dragonpay.
