Robert L. Yupangco- CEO of  Zoomanity Group

"We have started talks with planners to design the sanctuary of Mali, taking into account her physical condition and her space requirements. We will provide her with adequate food, shelter and a vast enclosure. 30- 50 hectares will be allocated to Mali in a forfeited area which will simulate her natural habitat." According to Zoomanity Group reply to the questions I sent to Robert Yupangco.

Mayor Joseph "Erap"  Estrada of Manila granted Yupangco request to transfer Mali temporarily to his Zoobic Safari Theme Park at Zambales inside the Subic Freefort Zone. Zoobic Safari is composed of 50 hectares of land while Robert Yupangco is expert in taking care of animals. Zoomanity group owned 6 Theme Parks in the Philippines; Zoobic Safari at Subic, Zoocobia at Clark Pampanga, Paradizoo at Mendez Cavite, Residence Inn at Tagaytay and Zoocolate Thrills at Loboc Bohol.

"The issue of Mali has attracted both national and international attention because of the animal welfare aspect and the celebrities who have declared their stand on it. We in Zoomanity are happy to be able to offer a win-win solution to this long- standing controversy." - Zoomanity Group.

Mali is the talk of the town and reached International celebrities. Check out what our local celebrities have to say when I asked them about their comment about the move to Zoobic Safari.

Carlos Celdran ( Manila Chief of Tourism and Famous Manila Tour guide)
"Im happy that there are so many people who cares about Mali."

Bert Guevarra (Earth Day Network Philippines President)
Even people need to reconnect with nature; much more for Mali who hasn't been out of his cage for years. He needs a vacation.

Chuckie Dreyfus (Actor)
I don't mind as long as Mali can get better care and attention there. He needs to have ample space to roam and hopefully other elephants too.”

Ian Angelo King (Hotelier)
Mali is old and transporting her might put her in shock. I think the people at the zoo know what they are doing and she belongs there. “

Ana Santos (Entrepreneur- Picture City)
As long as there's a guarantee moving him won't cause Mali any distress, am fine with it.”

Organizers and Speakers 1st major meeting at Gallileia Events Center and sponsored by 100 Miles Cafe

The theme this year is Social Revolutionist, a theme appropriate for what’s happening today. People are not only using Social Media to promote their products or services or just to hook up with their friends, they are also using it for political campaigns, advocacies and even finding a job. Social Media revolution is happening and we can see people gathering like-minded individuals to form a group with same beliefs and with the use of Social platforms like Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn and continuing it offline. There are so many professionals and advocacy groups right now who are formed from Facebook accounts and benefited from it. We are bringing these  experts to Laguna and we are hoping my fellow Lagueno will learn from them.”  According to Engr. Grace Bondad Nicolas, the lead organizer of this event.

100 Miles Cafe is located at For tPointe Building, 2nd Floor, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig.

More or less 700 attendees are expected to attend per day. Last year, total of 1500 participants which were composed of Students, Professors, bloggers and media practitioners enjoyed, experienced and became more aware about the advantage of Digital Marketing, Social Media and Branding.

Galileia Events Place is located at Fort Pointe Building, 2nd Floor, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig.

“This year, we added a new set of speakers like Carlos Celdran who is the new Manila Chief of Tourism, we are expecting that he will share his knowledge, expertise and experience of the effectiveness of Social Media in Tourism and him being the man who won a lot of awards because of his advocacy.” Nicolas said.

This year, notable and famous speakers again are supporting the Laguna Blogging Summit, to name a few, they are Janette Toral, Alvin Cloyd Dakis, James Jimenez, Art Samaniego Jr, Randell Tiongson, Pocholo De Leon Gonzales, Lloyd Luna and Eyriche Cortez.

” There’s nothing more remarkable gesture these days than seeing collaborative efforts in flesh that made 1Labs possible. In a generation where Internet is no longer a source of pleasure but a source of information that can improve the lives of those who use it, such an event is commendable. 1Labs was a gathering of like-minded individuals whose passion for innovation is core and commitment to move the people closer to the wonder of technologies is evident.”– Motivational Blogger, Speaker, and Author Lloyd Luna of http://www.lloydluna.com

“1LABS was a blast! I learned so much from both the speakers and the participants, that I think this should be a model of social media engagement for other local governments to follow. To make a long story short,  I can’t wait for the next one!” –COMELEC Director James Jimenez

Social Media Launch of labs.ph at Greenwich Pizza, Philfirst Building

Personnel from Greenwich Pizza were very accommodating, they asked us first our choice for drinks while they were preparing the conference room. For days actually, I am craving for their thin crust pizza, their PR sent the pictures through email and yes, I am tapped right away.
Today’s pizza lovers have become more discriminating in their choices. Their preferences have leveled up to include not just the right topping but the crust as well. While some prefer to munch on thick crust, others opt for the crispier thin crust for a more flavorful feast.

Enjoying the taste of Greenwich Thin Crust Pizza to the max while having a meeting.

"The laguna blogging summit last year was a huge success judging from the no. of participants who attended. More importantly we were able to project a positive and progressive image for the province under the transformative leadership of gov "ER" ejercito - estregan. The social media event of the Year was able to help laguna increase tourism arrivals from 2.2 million in 2008 to 4.8 million in 2012. We hope to continue this partnership with 2labs and the social media community for a more progressive and vibrant "bagong laguna" ! Mabuhay ang 2Labs at Mabuhay ang Pilipinas !" Craving for this thin crust pizza from Grennwich. Will surely have this delicious pizza again.

Greenwich Pizza restaurant at Philfirst Building along Ayala avenue at Makati sponsored the Social Media Launched and committed to support all #2LaBS meetings.

I am a pizza lover since I am like in gradeschool. I like thin crust oh well, less carbs for me since I am on diet. There are a few reasons why more and more people enjoy their pizzas served on a thinner crust. Pizza lovers prefer crispy thin crust because they can savor the flavor of the toppings more than on a bready thick crust.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Greenwich Pizza at Philfirst Building along Ayala Avenue makati. We will be back. With me here are from Zoomanity Group Sassy Punzalan and Jhoy Galas with Vibal Foundation Gelo Lopez

While there is clamor for crispy thin crusts, most thin crust pizzas today become soggy over a short period of time and some are even too oily, dampening the appetite of thin crust fans. The good news is that Greenwich, the country’s favorite pizza and pasta chain, unlocks the secret to enjoying thin crust pizza with yet another brand new treat. The new Greenwich Pizza Thins is the delightful latest addition to the Greenwich menu touted to tickle the taste buds of discriminating pizza lovers.

Super Thin and Crispy:)

For starters, Greenwich uses only the freshest and high quality ingredients to ensure consistency. Greenwich spent considerable time in its test kitchen to bring crispy thin crust making to perfection. It is not oily and remains crispy from first to the last bite.

Complementing the freshly made crust is Greenwich’s signature toppings that have been the talk of the town. The new Pizza Thins has the combination of premium toppings, 3 types of cheeses on crispier and tastier crust. Rich, flavorful and never short in serving, these toppings make Greenwich the preferred choice by pizza lovers of all ages.
