A day with Andria at Sofitel

I always like to stay at nice hotels. I just love hotels especially those posh, elegant and with an array of delicious food at the buffet. Well, I am thankful with my parents that they gave me a nice education and the will to succeed. Being at different posh hotels like Manila Hotel, Manila Peninsula and Sofitel gave me something to look forward too, to earn more, everything has cost, to dine at these elegant hotels is definitely not cheap.

It's July 2 and Pasig day, my kid Andria doesn't have class and perfect for a day of buffet lunch at Sofitel. Sofitel is the only French luxury hotel brand with a presence on five continents with 130 addresses, in more than 50 countries. Sofitel offers contemporary hotels and resorts adapted to today’s more demanding and more versatile consumers who expect and appreciate beauty, quality and excellence. Whether situated in the heart of a major city like Paris, London, New York or Beijing, or nestled away in a country landscape in Morocco, Egypt, Fiji Islands or Thailand, each Sofitel property offers a genuine experience of the French “art de vivre”.

Tour de France
At the Spiral, Andria and I met with fellow writers from the city. There, an exciting array of specialties was prepared under the creative hands of Sofitel’s Regional Chef for Asia Pacific and Sofitel Philippine Plaza’s Executive Chef, Eric Costille. Sofitel prepares different French specialties each week to experience the different regions with Tour de France at Spiral. Tour de France is the most famous and historical cycling competition in the world. I am excited because it's my first time at Spiral.

Bridgette Bardot
Sofitel is celebrating July as French month. They pay tribute to the best of the best from France and one of them is Brigitte Bardot. Brigitte Anne-Marie Bardot is a French former actress, singer and fashion model, now an animal rights activist. She was one of the best known sex symbols of the 1950s and '60s. Starting in 1969, Bardot's features became the official face of Marianne (who had previously been anonymous) to represent the liberty of France. Andria and me received a magazine from Sofitel featuring a young Bridgitte at the height of her popularity. A very nice souvenir and just right to know her more under Sofitel, a stature of beauty and class.

"Andria was so thrilled and enjoyed the different delicious food from the buffet. Sofitels array of food is huge and when you're there, you don't know where to start. It's food porn and gastronomic ride. The lunch at Spiral, we both will never forget and planning to have the membership, it's not only affordable but worth every cents. Sofitel is the only 5 star hotel in the Philippines."
