HOW TO DEAL WITH NEW RECRUITES

    Manpower is a necessity of every company or organization. There might be a good financial capital, assets, buildings, target market, transportation and wonderful idea but without people who will actually do the job, manage, analyze, apply and produce, all the fixed assets and good idea will be put into waste.

   Manpower is a term used to describe the people who make up the workforce of an organization, although it is also applied in labor economics to, for example, business sectors or even whole nations. Human resources, manpower, labor workforce are also the names of the function within an organization charged with the overall responsibility for implementing strategies, actual work, applications and policies relating to the management of individuals.

   That is why manpower is the most important asset of the organization and without the manpower, there gonna be no organization. One thing that must be consider also is the skills per individual, what exactly his line of work or best suited to their ability, capability and specialization. If the individual spent years in one company, the job is like a routine, know and trained well, advantage are zero wastage, just in time delivery, No backjobs, no reworks, with quality and a happy and satisfied manager. Every individual has different attitude and characteristics.  Given the integrity, honesty and empowerment to an individual, the company with its objective for instance for bigger profit, global expansion and satisfaction for clients can easily achieve.

   So what will happen if there are new recruites? Can they follow the vision, mission and objective of the organization at instant? Can he produce good quality of output for the satisfaction of the upper management and end-user? This is where the patience, training and temporary contracts comes in. To check if the new labor recruites are the best of the best and suitable to its position. For the management, it's a new character, the new recruit must also consider of getting to know everyone, the policies and most of all his manager.

   Additional work lies for telling to the new recruites over and over again the same thing about how to start, functions, how to deal with, applications and norms. That's the disadvantage of turnovers specially if dealing to construction industry. For every building or residential construction, turnover of labor force is usual but could give either an advantage or disadvantage for both sides. For instace, a new concrete mason will check again the complete area, the team lead will give him again a new instruction, explain the policies, asked him again about the mixture, ratio and proportion and all the smallest details that need to be consider. Because everyone have different qualifications, educational levels, background, way of living and attitude, dealing with the new recruites needs patience.

   Different industries have different strategies and techniques. Big organization have their own standard policies like the Japanese Firm in the Philippines. They tend to be more strict, using classical method of management or traditional method. For small and medium management, usually the policies are changing from time to time depends on the person and use a father and son like method. A big organization usually compose of more than two thousand and up employees while a small and medium organization usually with one hundred employees where each and everyone knows everyone by name unlike the large scale management that have different divisions like maintenance, technical, administration, human resorces and team members which is very hard for everyone to know everyone.

   It is hard to have a permanent job these days, looking for the perfect one is harder. It is the same thing as looking for the new recruites. Some companies even pay a referral fee to someone who could give them an employee that is suitable to their need and qualifications. In the Philippines, the population is more or less 93 million this 2011, investors are not coming in with all the increase of petroleum, transportation fee, basic needs, energy cost and toll fees. Graduating students are coming, what future does our government could offer to them? Some politicians even said that the philippines has a big demography thas why the Philippines is not overpopulated. Demography is not the question but the ownership. Some land area in this country are forest, dull, and owned by the big corporations or rich family, they are the minorities. While the majority of the population which are poor and still dont even can afford to pay a row house under the National Housing Authority, poor became poorer and the population that the philippines have, the 93 million of them doesn't have an equal distribution of land and jobs.

   If the working capable population is more than the actual work the philippines, it is not balance, the tendency of poverty measurement will go up, children will be born with parents who are jobless, the kids born with jobless parents will be uneducated, might be the problem of the community and might have the lowest job possible like helper, housekeeper, construction labor and might be working in a junkyard with salary per day just equal to one slice of cheesecake in one popular coffeeshop. how does it related to the new recruites? the background of every individual.

WHY SUICIDE? ANGELO REYES

  Suicide (Latin suicidium, from sui caedere, "to kill oneself") is the act of a human being intentionally causing his or her own death. Suicide is often committed out of despair, or attributed to some underlying mental disorder which includes depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, alcoholism and drug abuse. Financial difficulties, troubles with interpersonal relationships and other undesirable situations play a significant role.wikipedia

   February 8, 2011 at 8:32 in the morning, Former Defense Secretary, number one from his class, scholar. energy secretary Angelo Reyes was confirmed dead by killing himself with a 45 revolver infront of his mother's grave at Loyola Memorial Cementary. A surprised to everyone and the whole day news on the radio are all about him. Still, the hearing in the congress is continue simultaneusly with the hearing about the Reproductive Health Bill or Responsible Parenthood Bill which declared by the President of the Philippines a night ago, not a priority bill.

   Secretary Reyes is not perfect, everybody is. Nobody is perfect. Almost everyone is mourning but some are blaming abiut his reputation, the accused greed and plunder. There are lot's of questions why he did that. Shame, humiliation, conscience, fleeing from the problem, deppresion, stressed or just wanted to be quiet. Some said he is still a hero, the action is like accepting the truth. But life is supposed to have problems and needs to solve, for his stature, smartness, leader and could be the witness for the rotten organization, why it happened. Escaping? from the truth and justice.

   In respect to his death, the flag is in halfmask at Camp Aguinaldo, the department was surprised about what happened. Still, at the end, Secretary Angelo Reyes didn't mention any names. From some, he was courageous, low profile, a private citizen that doesn't want his name to be tarnished or humiliated. During the investigation about plunder for the whole AFP officers in the congress, people who attended the investigation even offered a prayer for the former general. The next hearing for the Blue Ribbon commitee will be on February 18, 2011.

  Senator Gregorio Honasan said that because of the heavy issue pertaining to the plunder in the military where the former Secretary of Energy Angelo Reyes name is mentioned which he thought could be the reason why Reyes commited suicide. Angelo Reyes was the former chief-of-staff of the former President president Erap Ejercito who turned his back to support the then  incoming  president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. Inspite of everything, erap told the press he wanted to remember Reyes as a good leader for the country.

   While President Noynoy Aquino, who is celebrating his birthday that day offered his condolence to the family left behind by Reyes, Senator Trillianes who got a heated dscussion with Reyes is not sorry for what he did. So why suicide? People cannot help but compare the suicide from the japanese using samurai to kill themself, thats when they thought everything is finished and that they are already lost the war or the like. If loosing hope is the reason why somebody will commit suicide, there must be  a lot of poor people who thinks about suicide? Just ironic that both poor and reyes reason are both about money. So does money is the source of all evil? Evil is usually seen as the opposite of good.    From one Psychiatrist, Because the former Secretary of energy was a statesman, public figure, respected general, topnotcher and intellectual, the humiliation and accusation from the media and different individuals are too much for him. It concludes that money is not the issue with Reyes but his good reputation and money is just the cause of the issue. Does it mean that money is not evil but the person itself who became greedy, selfish and the action is against the moral views of different authorities. Reyes wanted a quiet retirement, loved to sing and to take care of his grandchildrens, but instead, because of the humiliation and accusations...as smart he was, a decorated general, he killed himself.

FIVE SIX- KAPIT SA PATALIM

   Bakit nga ba sa hirap ng buhay ngayon, dimo alam kung dahil sa katamaran ng mga tao, korapsyon mula sa gobyerno o sadyang mahirap kumita ng pera sa ngayon. Ang ating mga kababayan, naisin mang gumanda ang buhay at mamalagi sa magandang kapaligiran tulad ng pag punta sa hotel at magbakasyon sa boracay ay dina magawa sa ngayon. Ido ba ay dala ng lumalago nating populasyon o dala lamang talaga ng kahirapan.

  Sa ngayon, maraming magulang, gustong mapagtapos ng pag aaral ang kani kanilang mga supling, upang magkaroon ng magandang buhay. Nangangarap na sana ay di matulad sa dinaranas nila na simulat simula ay kahirapan na at paghihikahos ang natunghayan sa buhay. Kahit anong trabaho susubukan, kahit na anong sama ng panahon susuungin, magkaroon lamang ng kita para sa pagkain sa araw araw o kaya para sa pantustos sa pag aaral ng mga anak.

Ang solusyon, kung sino man ang makakasagot ay magbibigay ng napakalaking kaginhawaan sa buhay ng isang mamamayan. saan nanggaling ang salitang five six? Ang tao minsan kapag naninigil, alam namang kaya umutang dahil sa naghikahos, nagipit o may inaasahang darating na pera sa takdang panahon na makakapagbayad sa inutangan, ngunit paano kung na delay ang inaasahang matatanggap sa araw na magbabayad rin? ano ang isasagot mo sa iyong inutangan? maniniwala ba sya o basta na lamang bang tatangapin ang iyong paliwanag? may interes paba sa panahong di ka nakapagbayad sa takdang panahon? Kung ano man ang sagot, tiyak ko, kawawa ang mahihirap na nagigipit at walang tiyak na kasiguraduhan ang pagdating ng pera, paano na ang mga pinag aaral nito? kanino ibabaling ang sisi? sa may katawan ba o sa gobyerno na walang ginawa kundi mangurakot ng kaban ng bayan.    Sa aking pagsasaliksik, dumarating sa buhay ng isang tao ang magipit. Kung ating susuriin, kung makakapagbigay lang ng magandang pagkakabuhayan ang ating gobyerno sa bawat tao dito sa ating bansa, tulad ng pondo para sa kooperatiba o kaya naman ay mga skolar di lamang para sa may mataas na talino ng kaisipan kundi sa mga pangkaraniwang pagiisip na magbibigay ng magandang pundasyon dahil sa pag aaral, sigurado ako uunti ng naghihirap. Pera lang daw ang katapat, nabibigyan nga natin ng pondo ang mga nakaupo sa kongreso na pinagpapagawa ng mga daan at gusali, bigyan kaya natin ang ilang ordinaryong mamamayan ng mga pagkakabuhayan naman na makakatulong sa itataas ng kwalidad nila sa buhay.
